This is a nation wide epidemic. We need to stop designing our environment for the weakest, dumbest or laziest (it is like Darwinian Evolution is reverse), as it will only degrade our entire society. The biggest problem is it gives nowhere for the smartest, strongest to operate as they have to exist in the same dumbed down nation as everyone else. Either the lady is incredibly ignorant, grossly misinformed, or there is some other motive behind the foolish expenditure. Frankly, it's difficult to envision anyone that stupid. That would appear to erase excuse number one and two. You then must follow the well traveled trail so notably expressed in, "Follow the Money". With such huge changes it's going into someones pocket big time! You don't suppose Ms. Peters is benefiting somehow do you? Oh, shame on me; in the Bush administration that isn't possible!
