Lead, Lead & More Lead

Saw on TV yesterday that dealers who sell  some small motorcycles and ATV’s were ordered to not sell them and if they do they will be heavily fined.

It seems that some lead has been found in the paint on the fenders.

My answer: ” Anyone who goes around licking motorcycle fenders deserves to remove themselves from the ‘gene pool’.”

How far is too far?

    I have a difficult time with the lead thing anyway.

    I can still recall holding an electronic part in one hand, a soldering iron in the other and a length of solder in my teeth.

    At 76 I’m having a little difficulty with recall occasionally but I don’t think it had anything to do with the lead in the paint on my crib or the solder I held in my teeth when I was twenty something.

    That is the only way that you can solder electronic parts.
    I have been doing it the same way most of my life also.

    The solution is three hands.
