POLITICS AND RELIGION
For as long as I can remember I have heard people say “Don’t discuss politics or religion”.That makes sense because both are subjective issues and people usually adhere to religion as a ‘faith-based system of salvation’. Faith is the sticking point.
People do not change unless given a reason and since the principles of a religion do not change significantly people continue to believe in their deities. Theists, of just about any religion, use the argument “it could not have been otherwise”.
People usually stay with the religion of their parents until an event in their lives causes them to question why they are of a particular faith. People do not simply change from one religion to another. They must first drop their original beliefs because of disagreement with their church leaders, a change in church policy or they dislike someone in the congregation so much that they are uncomfortable being there.
Politics, on the other hand is also subjective but the results of politicians are generally visible. The process may not be transparent but the results of the politicians actions are.
I have tried to avoid these two topics in my articles when I started writing them a year and a half ago but I wish to remind people of what happens when you ‘owe’ something to someone.
If someone loans you money they expect it to be repaid.
I believe people borrow money for two primary reasons.
The usual reason is that they need to borrow because they have mismanaged their affairs and are in debt.
The second is that they want the money to invest in a new home, car or business.
In the former case it is expected that the borrower will modify his or her habits so that they can avoid actions which caused their original financial problem.
The individual who loaned the money expects that assurance and so monitors the debtor’s behavior, and if necessary, attempts to control it.
In politics no one is elected who is an unknown therefore to advertise a candidate’s attributes requires money. We have seen recently that even elected positions that are of minor significance require ever increasing amounts of money.
This money comes from campaign contributions so the politician who receives it owes something to the contributor. The larger the contribution, the greater the debt.
Whoever loans you money essentially controls you. If it’s an individual or bank they need to know that the course that you are pursuing will guarantee that they will get their money back.
If you expect a handout from the government then you owe the government and they receive their payment through taxes. If you owe the government, it can tell you how you must live your life and how much of your money that they will take to make that happen.
We are caught up in a huge game.
The people at the top make–and keep– the most money in a Socialistic system.
That seems to be the game plan, a Socialistic ‘One World’ system of currency and governmental control by a few people. Perhaps it will be those few who have the greatest influence on the United Nations organization.
Every time the Democrats get elected, they push us a little closer toward Socialism.
When the Conservatives get back in, it’s like a ‘ratchet’–it never goes back. They never undo what the Liberals have done.
This is not to excuse all Republicans either. They want to get as many votes as possible so they must satisfy the desires of the masses with hand-outs which also is a step toward Socialism.
In short, no matter who gets elected in this country, Democrat or Republican, you can expect Socialism in the end. It is only a matter of who gets us there the fastest.
The government will decide what the individual is entitled to and control that through taxes and the redistribution of wealth.
That is, except for the privileged few at the top.

The do gooders are using politics to push forward socialist ideals and people do not realise just how damaging such ideals can be, the reality and hardship is what ordinary oeople have to live with.
The redistribution of wealth sounds very nice to hardworking people who think “poor souls who live in poverty” governments then happily give away tax payers money to the poor and needy of the whole world. Net result is that the tax payers ends up far poorer and less able to pay for things in their own country. It is a brave politician who stands up and says enough, what about us.
Religion is interferring with politics big time. Just look at Agenda 21 and the United Nations. Socialism is being foisted on countries via Agenda 21 under the guise of sustainability and the Keyoto agreement. A potty religious set of do gooders is behind Agenda 21 called Bahai. The Lisboa Conference set up the task to infultrate local governments with Agenda 21, it is all a bit underhand and 4th reich/religious sect clap trap. I wish the media would wake up a bit.
Thanks for reading my blog and your comments,

Which ever path you take, should it keep on tract, will end up in an oligarchy. We wouldn’t call them dukes, princes or kings but the end effect is still the same. It’s the “rose by any other name” result.
In both cases it revolves around money. How it’s handed out or not is where the Republican or Democrat divide come into play.
What totally astounds me are the people that are making over $200,000 a year and think the they are part of the new “elite”. They delude themselves that they are the makers and shakers of the country. When in fact they are nothing more than a peon in a new suit!
Even worse than those that think they are “big time” in society are the real business moguls who believe that outsourcing all the jobs in the United States will still leave them enough “core” money to have their company sustain and grow.
Following the current trend everything we need and consume will be made overseas with no one here being able to afford anything because there are no jobs left in the United States.
Of course, to relieve all this sorrow and woe, there will be waling and tears from the pulpit saying we need to pray more and give more money to the church.
In short Huxley, Orwell and Rand got it right and nobody would listen. Hail Big Brother and John Galt where are you!
To Amanda Pope,
The problem is that the media wants Socialism.
The people at the top, the really big money and power people, own the media.
It’s quite likely that these people bought the newspaper, magazine and TV companies to further their goals of converting both the US and the UK to Socialist countries.
It’s part of the “One World” concept with the UN as the instrument of control being directed by a handful of extremely wealthy people. They understand that Socialism gives them maximum control of the masses.
One does not need to be a President or Prime Minister if he is in a position to control them.
I am convinced that the ‘Big Money’ people bribed the major universities with substantial grants if they hired radical Socialist professors to create a generation of highly educated people who were made to believe that Socialism was the road to salvation.
The ‘buzz word’ is CHANGE.

Also don’t forget the diversions that are all over the map. We currently have 14 swine flu cases in California. There is currently 36,756,666 residents in California. That accounts for a .0000381% chance that you’ll get swine flu. Good Christ you stand a worse chance of slipping in the tub and breaking your neck.
We’re getting diversion stories. Keep us worrying about swine flu, alien invasions, or whatever they can cook up in the funny farm tank, make enough noise, spread the gloom and doom and you’ll have peoples attention away from whats important. And what’s important now is follow the money.
