That's the big question. You might have people in both Europe and America seriously debating that subject now. You have to be very careful on who you listen to on that point. You can obviously discount personages such as Al Gore. They're making money on this "rag". But for argument's sake, let's assume that it is in fact warming. The second question is how much are we contributing to the effect and how much is the natural cyclic variations causing the problem, if in truth, it is a problem at all. My opinion can be stated quite briefly. Our influence is similar to applying a 2" strip of scotch tape to a basketball. How much do you feel that it will influence a shot from the free throw line? Whenever there goes up a enormous cry over some human postulation the first question you must always ask is, "who's going to be making the money". Answer that question first and then determine who's making the most noise. Should the two happen to concur then it's reasonable to suspect the motives. Is the planet warming? That’s the big question.
