About

I feel that there is too much mis-information floating around in the world and my goal in starting this site is to attempt to bring enlightenment to those who blindly accept opinion as truth.

Making decisions of life or death for the individual or the entire planet must be based on truth–not opinion or prejudice.

I am a retired physicist who started working at NASA’s Langley Research Center the year that NASA came into existence.

I have been a Registered Professional Aeronautical Engineer, a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer and a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer.

I have been a consulting engineer in the fields of power plant effects on the environment, power plant emergency systems and electrical power transmission and distribution.

I have taught as a visiting lecturer or teacher at the university, high school and elementary school levels.

I have been involved in all levels of Scouting. I have been a member of the US Coast Guard Auxilliary, a marina owner and general manager and a sailing instructor.

I hold a Private Pilot’s certificate, am a certified SCUBA diver and ride a Harley.

A thread that has run through my life during the past 50 years has been my art.

My work is exhibited in galleries in the Mystic, CT area and some of it may be seen at http://johns-art.blogspot.com

In short, I have accumulated a lifetime of survival experiences which I hope to pass on to those who dare to think.
